Deep River Hike

The Deep River Hike will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Deep River County Park
in Hobart, Indiana. The Lodge welcomes Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts,
Explorers, Venturing Crews and Families to participate in a fun day of hiking in the
outdoors. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in either a 5, 10 or 20
mile hike.
Potawatomi Hike

On Saturday, March 27, 2010, Michigamea welcomed Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts,
Venture Crews and their families to join in the annual Potawatomi Hike at Indiana
Dunes State Park. At the hike, everyone was able to enjoy fellowship with others.
Thank you for helping to make this year's hike a success.
About the Hikes
Michigamea Lodge sponsors two hikes during the year, the Deep River and the Potawatomi Trail Hike. These events offered by the Lodge are great opportunities for Scouts and Scouters as well as their families to experience some of the wonderful recourses in our own back yard.
The hikes are open to Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers, Venturing Crews and Families. Hikers can choose either a 5, 10 or 20 mile hike. While at the hike, Lodge Arrow men will be serving the Calumet Council Scouting Community with our Lodge Concession Stand.
